Towards the end of 2013, a Leadership Development Survey was published showing the results of collaborative research conducted by Sunny, Natalie Cunningham and Wilhem Crous.

More than 150 organisations participating with a total workforce of over 2.7 million covering all the major industries and economic sectors of the economy. It is a very comprehensive analysis of all the various leadership development practices and approaches currently used.

I have just written a book for previously disadvantaged community leadership in S Africa and asked Shaun Kingston at leader.co.za if I could quote your story about the school that had to be closed in ‘9 major problems facing S. A.’ . He said that I should double check with you. The book is about growing participatory communities ina ‘bottom up’ growth for n active citizenry, through churches and others working together on ‘common ground. May I have your permission to use the story? It would be much appreciated – of course \I say that it is what you describe. I would greatly appreciate it as an illustration
